- Step 1:Check whether you are able to access the internet from other devices. Connect to the same wireless network and verify your connection.
- Step 2:On Android devices, if there is no internet, an X icon will be displayed on the Wi-Fi symbol that indicates no internet. Go to Settings and select Network & Internet. If you don't have any access to the internet, “No internet connection” will be displayed in the Wi-Fi section.
- Step 3:Now, disconnect the Ethernet cable that is connected between your modem and router.
- Step 4:Plug in the Ethernet cable again after a few seconds and check whether your computer is connected to the Internet now.
- Step 5:Make sure that you have properly connected the cables between your devices.
- Step 6:Restart your computer and router, as this may solve temporary technical glitches.
- Step 7:In case if you are using a wireless network connection, switch to a wired connection with the help of network cables.
- Step 8:Remove the power plug from both the modem and router. Then, replug it after 60 seconds.
- Step 9:First, plug in the modem and wait till it boots up. Then, connect the router to the power outlet to solve computer plugged into router no internet.
- Step 10:If the issue persists, try connecting the computer directly to your modem.
- Step 11:Disconnect the power cable of the modem and wait for about 60 seconds and reconnect it.
- Step 12:Press the Start menu and go to Settings from your Windows computer.
- Step 13:Navigate to the Network & Internet section and click Status.
- Step 14:Select Network Troubleshooter and continue with the instructions on the screen to fix the issue.
- Step 15:If the problem is not resolved, reset your network from Settings. Click Network reset under the Status section. Then, click on the Reset now button to remove all saved networks.
- Step 16:Now, connect your network once again to fix the computer plugged into router no internet issue.
