- Step 1:First, note down the network credentials of your wireless router.
- Step 2:You can find the default network credentials on the rear side of the router. Otherwise, find the credentials in the user manual.
- Step 3:All the recent versions of desktops include a Wi-Fi feature in it. You can only connect to the network if you have a Wi-Fi feature on your computer or laptop.
- Step 4:If you don't have a Wi-Fi feature on your computer, you can use a Wi-Fi adapter to get connected to the router.
- Step 5:You have to connect your modem and router using an Ethernet cable.
- Step 6:Connect an Ethernet cable to the WAN port of your router and fix the other end of the cable to the modem.
- Step 7:If you have already configured the router, go to your computer and click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray.
- Step 8:Choose the network name of your router from the displayed list. If you don't find a network, you can enter the SSID manually.
- Step 9:Now, enter the password of your network and click on the Connect button.
- Step 10:Your computer will be connected to the wireless router.
