- Step 1 :First, connect your modem and router using an Ethernet cable.
- Step 2 :Make sure to set up your wireless router and configure it prior to the connection. Also, keep it turned on throughout the connection process.
- Step 3 :Now, connect your two Ubuntu computers to the router’s Wi-Fi network.
- Step 4 :You can also connect your computers to the router through a LAN connection using an Ethernet cable.
- Step 5 :Ensure to install the Nexus server on both of your Ubuntu computers.
- Step 6 :Click the Connect to Server tab and formulate an SFTP string.
- Step 7 :Enter the server address shown on the other computer and click on the Connect button.
- Step 8 :You can save the server as a bookmark to connect easily in the future.
- Step 9 :You can access all files from the other computer if you enter the server address correctly.
- Step 10 :When prompted for confirmation, click the Log in Anyway option and enter the password of your Ubuntu computer.
- Step 11 :Now, you can copy the files from your local to the server, and the user on the other computer can access them.
- Step 12 :If you have connected the server for all local folders, whatever changes you make in one Ubuntu computer can be seen on the other.
- Step 13 :You can view and share any type of file formats like PDF, Word, MP4, or MP3 files.
