Linksys wireless router
Connect your computer to the Linksys router’s network.
Visit the official Linksys web page, type the model number of your Linksys router in the search bar, and press Enter.
Click Downloads/Firmware, choose your hardware version, and select the Download option below Linksys Connect Setup Software.
Note: Some of the Linksys router models might not support the Linksys Connect Software. In this case, access the web-based setup page of the router using its IP address, username, and password and customize the network settings.
When the End User License Agreement dialog box prompts on the screen, click the Agree button.
Step 2:Save the downloaded setup file in the computer’s Desktop and double-click it.
Step 3:Select the checkbox next to the ‘I have read and accept the License Terms for using this software’ option and click the Next button at the bottom-right end of the screen.
Step 4:Now, you will see the ‘We are now setting up your Linksys’ progress message on the screen.
Once done, a unique wireless network name and password will be generated automatically.
If needed, you can change them and click Next.
Once the router has been set up, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
Now, select the OK option and you will be redirected to the main interface of Linksys Connect.

Step 1:Take an Ethernet cable and then use it to establish a connection between the WAN port of the Netgear router to the rear port of your modem.
Take another Ethernet cable and connect it to the LAN port of the Netgear router and your computer.
Note: After configuring the router, you can remove the Ethernet cable that is connected between the computer and the router and connect to the Wi-Fi.
Step 3:Plug the router’s power cable to an electrical outlet and then press the Power button to turn it on.
Now, launch a web browser on the computer and enter the Netgear router’s IP address.
When prompted, provide the username and password correctly in the appropriate fields.
On the Netgear router’s web interface page, navigate to Wireless Settings and change the network name in the SSID field.
