How To Fix Wifi Light Not Blinking On Router?

The WiFi light not blinking on router when it runs on an obsolete firmware. This problem may also occur when the Wireless LAN option is disabled on your router. To fix this problem, follow these steps.

Solution 1: Enable Wireless LAN settings on your Netgear router

  • Step 1 :First, connect your Netgear router to the Internet modem using the coaxial cable.
  • Step 2 :Make sure to power them on after connecting them to their power cords to the power outlets.
  • Step 3 :Next, connect your router to the Windows computer using a standard Ethernet cable.
  • Step 4 :Once connected, open the default browser on your computer and enter the router’s IP address in the URL field.
  • Step 5 :Press the Return key to access the router’s login portal.
  • Step 6 :You can identify the router’s IP address from the label attached to the router’s backside.
  • Step 7 :Alternatively, you can find the IP address using the ‘ipconfig’ command in the Command Prompt app.
  • Step 8 :In the router’s login portal, enter your login credentials to access the administrative interface.
  • Step 9 :Click the Advanced tab and select Wireless Settings from the left-side panel.
  • Step 10 :Check the Wireless router and SSID Broadcast checkboxes (if disabled).
