- Step 1 :First, connect your Netgear router to the Internet modem using the coaxial cable.
- Step 2 :Make sure to power them on after connecting them to their power cords to the power outlets.
- Step 3 :Next, connect your router to the Windows computer using a standard Ethernet cable.
- Step 4 :Once connected, open the default browser on your computer and enter the router’s IP address in the URL field.
- Step 5 :Press the Return key to access the router’s login portal.
- Step 6 :You can identify the router’s IP address from the label attached to the router’s backside.
- Step 7 :Alternatively, you can find the IP address using the ‘ipconfig’ command in the Command Prompt app.
- Step 8 :In the router’s login portal, enter your login credentials to access the administrative interface.
- Step 9 :Click the Advanced tab and select Wireless Settings from the left-side panel.
- Step 10 :Check the Wireless router and SSID Broadcast checkboxes (if disabled).
- Step 11 :Make sure to click Apply after modifying the router settings. Now, check if the WiFi light not blinking on router issue has been resolved.
